It’s at that exact moment that you decide to take a leap of faith, to do the metaphorical jump off of the diving board into that giant ass pool of positive expectations of love and feelings and whatever else that accompanies it that you’ve misleadingly been told about through movies and pictures, that you realize not only can you not swim, but that pool that you imagined is just an ocean of self-pity.
